The knob is connected via the 2.4GHz dongle to my PC. Usually it runs out of battery, because I don’t have a way of seeing the battery levels. This hasn’t been a major issue, because when this happened I was able to start charging it, and use it in the meanwhile.
But today, after I realized it lost power again, I wasn’t able to charge it. It looks like it is bricked/dead. Is there a way to reset it? Or somehow wake it up? I cannot even use it in wired mode, it became unusable, therefore I’m looking for some help.
Ok, so I was charging it overnight, and - though it seemed to not work at first, but - now it seems to work. The only thing is that the LED doesn’t work at all. I wonder if there’s a connection between the LEDs not working and the knob being dead for a day.
All right, the LEDs started working. This knob works in mysterious ways…Otherwise I love it, I would have been sad to lose it.
Is there a plan for implementing a way to see the battery charge? If so, that would help me deciding to charge it preemptively to avoid such problems.
A convenient way to identify charging status is to open the driver app and it will show that the device is connected, indicating that it is charging.
Note two issues: first, the data cable must be able to transmit data; second, ensure the USB interface is working.
That’s unrelated. The LED lights up upon signal wake‑up; it triggers wake‑up after a 3‑minute sleep mode. The light indicates power presence.
It takes roughly 3 hours to fully charge. Battery level can only be checked by connecting via Bluetooth to your phone or computer, as the system displays it natively. Usually this reading is not accurate.
